Shop weekly at this store with my wife. The cafe is excellent and always have a good deal on very good supermarket all round. Staff always polite and helpful.

It's very difficult to do a weeks shopping here as a lot of short dates on meat, cooked meat and some fresh produce. Having said this there seems to be no consistency as one week date will probably be fine abd the week after seems to be all short dates. Similarly fruit and veg seems really sparse some Thursday teatime when we go shopping. The other irritating thing about this store is occasionally qw will be going through the checkouts slightly after 8.00pm. It like somone has thrown a switch the logs go dimmer abd many of the tills close. It look like time to explore other retailers I think.
Like the store, shop every week, but only complaint is about asdas own pies, very poor, hardly no chicken, 4x2.00 not cheap.
Back here for a bit of top up shopping and a bite to eat. Due to the severe weather conditions there was a limited menu in the cafe, staff shortages or delayed deliveries, either way I opted for a cheese and mushroom omelette, sadly no chips available, but a very tasty and very cheesy meal it made. Highly recommended. Despite the circumstances the staff coped well and were helpful and polite.
