We had great service from Heidi our consultant. The occasion was made very special by having the place all to ourselves and the sparkling wine to celebrate. Tiffany came home with her little gifts feeling really excited about her day. The selection of dresses was excellent and method of choosing them was easy to do.
I was very uncertain whether I should be looking for a Wedding Dress at my age and did visit quite a lot of 'Mother of the Bride' shops and Designer Evening wear shops !! Nothing really excited me, and so I browsed on the internet and looked through a few Wedding shop windows feeling a little embarrassed!One day I found the courage and telephoned - Emma Hartley Bridalwear,I spoke with Rachel - wow she was great, she made me feel so special - that was just on the phone ! I made an appointment to go into the shop and meet Rachel, she did not at any time make me feel embarassed with being older, if anything she made me feel very special and excited at being a Bride!! I looked at one or two of the vast amount of dresses that this shop offers and was amazed not only at the quality and design of the dresses, but also the price. I eventually met Emma, herself and what a team that this shop offers, nothing is too much trouble and because there was one or two alterations that I wanted to the dress, I then met Emily who is their seamstress. Within a matter of a week, I now had a fantastic fitting dress, without a train, which was made into a bolero.Rachel, Emma and Emily always made me feel special, and nothing was too much trouble. They helped me with hair design and what to wear, and advised on flowrs etc.I realised that these ladies completley changed my mind on the fact that you are never too old to be a BRIDE ! I felt fantastic on my wedding day and I can only thank all of these ladies for making it so special.I am so sorry for the late post of your fantastic work, but honeymoon and work has taken over since the wedding at Gretna. I visited a few bridal shops from big city centre ones to smaller ones in my hunt for the perfect dress and Emma Hartley was by far the best. Their customer service was second to none, at no point was I rushed into making a decision, or egged on to try on anything I didn't want to. At the start of the appointment, Emma sat down with me and worked out what dresses I liked the look of from photographs and what styles would work well with my venue and budget. It was a unique approach but one that had me and my mum really relaxed and made us feel like we were in really good hands. I left the store feeling wonderful, not just because of the congratulatory glass of bubbly we were offered once we'd bought the dress! I'd highly recommend this store for first rate service and a gorgeous selection of gowns!
I recently got married and bought my bridal and bridesmaid dresses from Emma Hartley's. The service was impeccable, the staff made me comfortable and relaxed , answering any queries or concerns I had. I ended up choosing the 'Gracie' by Suzanne Neville, a beautiful silk dress handmade in the UK, thanks to the advice and guidance of the consultants, and the finished dress made me feel like a princess! I lost quite a bit of weight before the wedding and was worried that the dress wouldn't look right once it was made to fit but as the seamstress is on site for fittings, I felt completely confident in the alterations that needed to occur and in the end you couldn't even tell it had been altered as the shape and fit was spot on! The bridesmaid dresses were also amazing, the separate bridesmaid boutique made the experience all that more special for them too. All the dresses were to an extremely high standard and I could not have been happier with how everything looked on the day!! I have and would definitely recommend both shops to anyone, I found the perfect dress and had a relaxed experience as I knew the ladies would look after me completely. 5/5 for sure! Just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Emma Hartley bridal and bridesmaids! I found my dream dress and was married 2 weeks ago! I had a beautiful fishtale lace dress with pearl beading. The fit was perfect and I felt amazing all day.My bridesmaids dresses where also so beautiful. I went for style 6672 in 4 different shades. All my bridesmaids dresses needed alterations but they where included in the price as was my bridal alterations and were made to fit perfectly! The choice of colours and styles was overwhelming and with the staffs friendly advice and service I came to make my wonderful choice! it was even their Idea to go for different shades of pastel which looked amazing!The journey was truly enjoyable, all the staff were experienced and friendly me and my mum and bridesmaids enjoyed every moment!
