I bought a projector and screen from here a few months ago. Great service on the day in terms of providing a really extended demo before purchase.When the screen arrived it did unfortunately have a mark on the frame. They were excellent in supporting the resolution of this with the manufacturer. I'd like to make particular mention of Liam who was a credit to the store throughout.

AVOID THIS SHOP. I was both rudely insulted and fobbed off with terrible customer service. I bought an electric kettle which whilst under warranty started to leak over the electric base. I returned in good faith with proof of the transaction in the form of a bank statement only to be told this would not do. The proprietor told me he couldn't do anything about it if I couldn't keep my filing system in order and provide the original receipt! When I stated that Trading Standards consider a bank statement to be perfectly adequate for the purposes of returning a faulty item he proceeded to claim I had "damaged the item and so he couldn't be responsible for it". What he was actually referring to was the fact I had I considered leaking water and electricity to be a dangerous combination and so unscrewed the plug so as to avoid an accident. Had I perhaps smashed the plug off with a hammer I could have understood his concern but I had simply removed the plug with a screwdriver so as to avoid the possibility of my wife plugging the kettle in and getting an electric shock. I had entered the shop with a calm and reasonable manner and left feeling both insulted and infuriated. I am taking the matter up with Trading Standards. I wouldn't ordinarily go to this trouble but was so angered by the proprietor's rude and supercilious attitude I felt this action entirely justifiable.
